Leo, I love you still!

I was 14 when Titanic released. All the girls in class sobbed and wept like a Hindi ham scene in the theatre as Jack slowly went into the ice-cold water. After the movie, I went straight to the neighbourhood Archies and bought a Leo diCaprio poster, which stays in my room to this day.

Nearly 13 years later, looking almost nothing like the chocolate boy in Titanic, he's done it again - this time as an actor, not as a looker. Watch Inception. You will love it.

There's something about intelligent movies - much like intelligent men, you don't really expect it, and that feeling is pretty awesome. Inception essentially describes a heist - much like Ocean's Eleven, except this time it is in someone's head. It is smart, slick, poignant, oh I don't know, all the good adjectives you can think of. I haven't been quite so inspired nor had that how-did-he-do-it feel with a movie since Dev D. Awesome.

This is the best Chris Nolan movie thus far - even with Momento, The Prestige and the Batman series. It takes your mind on a whirlwind tour and makes it work every time. You are amazed by the cast, stunned by the storyline and really, really wonder how someone could have thought this entire plot up. But then again, like the sis remarked - he probably stole it from someone's head!

Dude have you been hiding under a rock all these years, that you're surprised by Leo's acting talent? The guy is INSANELY AWESOME. Please watch Revolutionary Road, The Aviator, The Departed. Even in otherwise average (imo) movies like Blood Diamond, Catch Me If You Can, and Body of Lies, he shines. Watch his early films like What's Eating Gilbert Grape and This Boy's Life for how extraordinary he is as a child actor. (I doubly recommend Gilbert Grape for Johnny Depp!)
